New River Gorge Bridge

Bridge Day was first celebrated in 1980, to commemorate the completion of the New River Gorge Bridge. The Bridge Day Festival is observed on the third Saturday in October on the New River Gorge Bridge near Fayetteville, WV.  For more info on the festival see our Guide to Bridge Day.
